PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an alloy which can impart a high coercive force to a produced rare-earth magnet. SOLUTION : The apparatus for manufacturing the alloy 1 comprises at least : a casting device 2 for casting a molten alloy with a strip casting method; a crushing device 21 for crushing the cast alloy after casting; and a heating device 3 for keeping the flakes of the cast alloy after crushing at the temperature or for heating them.
