PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a golf ball with good extrusion workability, and to improve the resilience of the golf ball. SOLUTION : The golf ball comprises at least 60 % by weight of cis-1, 4-bond, 50-95 % by weight of first polybutadiene synthesized by using a rare earth element catalyst whose Mooney viscosity (ML1+4(100°C)) is at least 50, and at least 60 % by weight of cis-1, 4-bond. The golf ball is made of a vulcanized mold of a rubber composition as a main component comprising 100 parts by weight of a rubber base material including 5-50 % by weight of second polybutadiene synthesized by using a rare earth element catalyst whose Mooney viscosity (ML1+4(100°C))is not more than 45, 10-60 parts by weight of unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its metal salt, 0.1-5 parts by weight of organic sulfur compound, 5-80 parts by weight of inorganic filler, and 0.1-3 parts by weight of organic peroxide.
