PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rubber composition for tread that is earth-friendly, and can prepare against the future exhaustion of petroleum resource, and can obtain rubber composition for tread having excellent dry grip property and obtain pneumatic tire by using the same material in comparison with the products made of conventional raw material. SOLUTION : The rubber composition for tread comprises 0.5-15 pts.wt. of biodegradable plastic per 100 pts.wt. of diene rubber. Further, the pneumatic tire is obtained by using the rubber composition.
