PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a moving magnet type camera module capable of sufficiently securing a driving force for a holder. SOLUTION : The camera module 1 has : a housing 2 forming the outer shell of the camera module 1; a lens unit 3 constituting the optical system of the camera module 1; a barrel 4 housing the lens unit 3; a cylindrical holder 5 housing the barrel 4 and also capable of moving along in the optical axis direction of the lens unit 3 relative to the housing 2; leaf springs 7 and 8 being a supporting means for supporting the holder 5 movably relative to the housing 2; a cylindrical coil 6 supported by the housing 2; and an imaging device 11 disposed below the lens unit 3. The outer peripheral surface 5a of the holder 5 is opposed to the inner periphery part 6a of the coil 6 and also the holder 5 is composed of plastic magnet being the injection molding of mixture of thermoplastic resin and ferrite powder or rare earth magnet powder.
