PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rubber composition which contains resources except oils in enhanced contents, is friendly for the earth, is prepared for decrease in the supply of the oils in future, and is used for side walls keeping hardness and having excellent crack resistance and excellent bending crack-resistant performance. SOLUTION : This rubber composition for side walls is characterized by containing zinc oxide having an average particle diameter of ≤200 nm in an amount of 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component comprising ≥30 wt.% of natural rubber and ≤70 wt.% of an epoxidized natural rubber.
