PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a golf ball with excellent resilience which exhibits good extrudability and enables production with higher workability, a shortened vulcanization time and improved productivity. SOLUTION : This golf ball is a vulcanized molded article of a rubber composition which comprises 100 pts. wt. of a rubber substrate composed mainly of a polybutadiene having cis-1, 4 bonds at a rate of 60 wt.% or more and a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4(100°C)) of 30 or higher and being synthesized by using a rare earth element-based catalyst, 15-50 pts. wt. of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its metal salt, 2 pts. wt. or more of a processing auxiliary having the highest melting point of 115°C or below and two or more organic peroxides in a total amount of 0.1-0.9 pts. wt. based on 100 pts. wt. of the rubber substrate wherein an organic peroxide (a) has the shortest half life at 155°C, at, and another organic peroxide (b) has the longest half life, bt, and the half life ratio, bt/at, is 7 or higher.
