PURPOSE : A motorized valve is provided to obtain a wanted torque even by using a rare earth plastic magnet as a material of a rotor. CONSTITUTION : A motorized valve includes a valve body(20), a can(40), a rotor(30), a stator(50), and a drive mechanism. The valve body controls the flow rate of a fluid such as a refrigerant by a valve body making contact with a valve seat in a valve chamber. The lower end of the can is welded to the valve body. The rotor is disposed on the inner peripheral surface of the can. The stator is inserted into the can from outside to rotate the rotor. The drive mechanism is disposed between the valve body and the rotor to bring the valve body into contact with the valve seat by using the rotation of the rotor. The thickness of the lower end of the can is different from the thickness of a portion between the rotor and the stator. © KIPO 2007
