PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a resource-conserving inexpensive rare-earth bonded magnet having high magnetic properties by recycling a waste magnet material which is produced in large quantities from a rare-earth sintered magnet manufacturing process as it is, after performing drying and grain size adjustment or after subjecting the material to surface treatment for restoring magnetism. SOLUTION : The isotropic rare-earth bonded magnet recycling the waste magnet material is manufactured by molding and solidifying 60-5 mass% waste magnet material powder composed of a rare-earth sintered magnet and its working dust and having a mean particle diameter of 2-40 μm, and 40-95 mass% of isotropic Nd-Fe-B-based powder manufactured by quenching or hydrogenation and having a mean particle diameter of 40-300 μm with an organic resin. It is preferable to form a metallic or ceramic coating film having a thickness of 0.01-3 μm on the surface of the waste magnet material powder so as to improve the coercive force of the material.
