PURPOSE : An all-fiber laser device for a mild-infrared wavelength band is provided to implement an all-fiber optical fiber laser element oscillated in the mild-infrared wavelength band by combining a non-silica optical fiber with a silica optical fiber.
CONSTITUTION : An all-fiber laser device for a mild-infrared wavelength band includes a non-silica optical fiber(52), a pumping optical source(58), and an optical element(50). A rare earth element having an energy transit potential voltage level corresponding to the mild-infrared wavelength is spread on an optical fiber core. The non-silica optical fiber(52) is used as a gain medium. The pumping optical source(58) is connected to the non-silica optical fiber(52) through an optical combiner which is installed on the non-silica optical fiber(52). The optical element(50) installed on the non-silica optical fiber(52) forms a resonator. The rare earth element with the mild-infrared energy transit potential voltage level which is doped on a core of the non-silica optical fiber(52) is Pr, Tb, Dy, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Ho, Er, Tm or Yb.
