PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic having small AC voltage dependency of dielectric constant. SOLUTION : The dielectric ceramic has a perovskite type crystal structure consisting essentially of barium titanate, containing a rare earth element, magnesium and manganese as auxiliary components and expressed by compositional formula, (Ba1-yREy)(Ti1-a-bMga0Mnb)O3 (Re is a rare earth element) wherein the range of each of (x), (y) and (a0) is expressed by 0≤x≤0.05, 0.06≤y≤0.09 and 0.03≤a0≤0.045, the lattice constant ratio c/a is 1.001-1.004 and the Curie temperature is in a range of (-50)-50°C.
