PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnet excellent in a dimensional accuracy and a degree of freedom of shape, and excellent in a heat resistance and magnetic characteristic than a bond magnet.
SOLUTION : A method for manufacturing a rare-earth alloy binderless magnet comprises the steps of preparing the rare-earth system quenching alloy magnetic powder (A), forming an compression molding having a volume percentage of not less than 70% nor more than 95% of the rare-earth system quenching alloy magnetic powder sharing to total by cool compression molding the rare-earth system quenching alloy magnetic powder without the use of a resin binder (B), heat treating the compression molding at the temperature of not less than 350°C nor more than 800°C after the step (B) and forming a magnetic body (C), and forming a vapor metal plating film on the surface of the magnet body (D).
