PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare-earth magnet ring having excellent magnetic characteristics without reducing magnetic fluxes even when a magnet thickness is extremely thinned.SOLUTION : The rare-earth magnet ring is manufactured by using an R-B-Fe-Co-Ni-Ti alloy, in which a part or all of added Ti is solidly solved. The ring includes an R2(Fe, Co, and Ni)14B phase into which a TiB2 phase is dispersed and precipitated, and an R(Fe, Co, and Ni)4B phase. The atomic number ratio of Fe/(Fe+Co+Ni) in the R(Fe, Co, and Ni)4B phase is ≤0.5. A soft magnetic material including at least one kind selected from among Fe, Co, and Ni is bonded on the inner peripheral face or the outer peripheral face of an annular magnet having a thickness of 50-300 μm in which magnetic powder is radially oriented.COPYRIGHT : (C)2007, JPO&INPIT
