PURPOSE : An aggregate coated with pearl pigment for compensating monotony thereof is provided to express pearl shine and rare-metal color feels, thereby endowing aesthetic effect and rapid solidification drying of constructional finishing material containing the same under hot blowing by applying a pearl pigment composition containing pearl pigment, resin and solvent to the aggregate. CONSTITUTION : The aggregate comprises 10-20wt.%% of solvent, 5-15wt.%% of resin, 1-5wt.%% of pearl pigment and 65-80wt.%% of aggregate and has particle size ranging from 10 to 200 micrometers. The constructional finishing material includes 70-85wt.%% of the aggregate coated with the pearl pigment and 15-30wt.%% of adhesive binder. The adhesive binder includes : 35-40wt.%% of water, 0.5-1wt.%% of dispersant, 50-60wt.%% of acryl based binder, 2-5wt.%% of acryl based thickener and 0.5-1wt.%% of pH regulator. The adhesive binder is mostly acryl based binder and especially, urethane or epoxy resin. The pearl pigment is formed by finely grinding mica in a lamella structure and thinly applying metal oxide on the surface of the ground mica structure. © KIPO 2007
