PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an aluminum alloy reflection film for an optical recording medium having excellent corrosion resistance and surface smoothness and to provide a sputtering target for forming the reflection film. SOLUTION : The aluminum alloy reflection film comprises an aluminum alloy containing 0.1 to 15 mass% Mg and 0.1 to 10 mass% one or two or more rare earth elements in total if needed.
