PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a sheet for inkjet recording which is improved in ozone resistance and developability and excellent in water resistance, blurring with time and mottling properties, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION : The sheet for inkjet recording has at least one porous ink accepting layer formed by coating a non-water-absorptive substrate with a coating solution containing inorganic particulates and a binder. A water-soluble salt of at least one metal selected from rare earth elements and a water-soluble salt of at least one metal selected from Zr, Al and Ti are contained in the porous ink accepting layer.
