FIELD : hydrometallurgy; methods of extraction of rhenium. SUBSTANCE : the invention is pertaining to the field of hydrometallurgy of the rare-earth metals and may be used for extraction of rhenium. The method includes the sorption of rhenium by the granulated super cross-linking polysterene impregnated with the extractant and the rhenium desorption by the ammonia solution. The solution containing uranium is subjected to sorption and conduct the sorption using the super cross-linking polysterene impregnated with cyclohexylamine taken in the quantity of 1-35 mass %. The technical result of the invention is the increased factor of separation of rhenium and uranium from the solutions containing uranium, the improved quality of rhenium eluates and simplification of the process of their further reprocessing.
