PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric porcelain composition which can be fired at a low temperature and has excellent heat stability while exhibiting high permittivity, also to provide a laminated ceramic capacitor using the same.
SOLUTION : The dielectric ceramic composition comprises (Ba1-xCax)mTiO3 as a major component, and MgCO3, RE2O3(RE2O3 is one or more rare earth oxide selected from a group of Y2O3, Dy2O3 and Ho2O3), MO (M is one element of Ba and Ca) and MnO, V2O5, Cr2O3 as minor components, and SiO2 as a sintering aid. The above composition is expressed by a (Ba1-xCax)mTiO3-bMgCO3-cRE2O3-dMO-eMnO-fSiO2-gV2O5-hCr2O3, where the following relationships are satisfied in mole ratios : a=100; 0.1≤b≤3.0; 0.1≤c≤3.0; 0.1≤d≤3.0; 0.05≤e≤1.0; 0.2≤f≤3.0; 0.01≤g≤1.0; 0.01≤h≤1.0; 0.005≤x≤0.15; and 0.995≤m≤1.03.
