PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To constitute a thin and super-flat DC brush motor.
SOLUTION : In the DC brush motor, a hollow tubular and thin anisotropic rare earth bond magnet 13 magnetized to have at leat six poles with maximum energy product of 17 MGOe or above is brought into pressure contact with the inner circumferential portion of a housing 12. Assuming the outside diameter (diameter) of the motor housing is r, radial thickness of the anisotropic rare earth bond magnet is d, length of an electromagnetic rotator is h, and the thickness of the motor housing is w, the outside diameter (diameter) of the motor housing is 50-100 mm, the ratio w/d between the thickness of housing and the thickness of magnet is 1-4, the ratio d/r between the thickness of magnet and the outside diameter of housing is 0.01-0.10, and the ratio h/r between the length of electromagnetic rotator and the outside diameter of housing is 0.01-0.10.
