PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a compact, economical and small generator suitable for wind power or hydraulic power generation. SOLUTION : A power generation unit 21 of such a structure as rotors 30 and stators 40 are stacked in the direction of a shaft 22 and the rotor 30 is held between the stators 40 is provided. A rod magnet 33 of rare earth is arranged on the rotor 30 such that the opposite poles 33s and 33n appear on the end face 31 facing the stator 40 and a power generation coil 43 is arranged on the stator 40 oppositely thereto.
