PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solar cell module which can improve power generation efficiency and reduce power generation cost by absorbing a sunray of <500 nm that cannot be used for power generation in a crystal silicon cell and producing a light of 500-1, 000 nm by which the crystal silicon cell can efficiently use for power generation.
SOLUTION : The solar cell module is formed by assembling a number of units which are provided with a front cover, a back cover and a crystal silicon cell packaged by a sealing material between the covers. The sealing material between the front cover and the crystal silicon cell contains a rare earth complex emitting fluorescence of 500-1, 000 nm. The complex contains Eu, Sm as a rare earth, a carboxylic acid as a ligand, especially an aromatic carboxylic acid, and a derivative of its alkyl substitute product or a fatty acid or the like. Furthermore, it preferably contains a nitrogen-containing organic compound, especially a nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocyclic compound.
