PURPOSE : Ceramics element having sintered ceramic material and metal material closed to the sintered material is provided to have excellent crack property by forming modified layer of the sintered material around the metal material in 300 micrometers or less in order to restrain interaction between both of them, thereby improving the crack property. CONSTITUTION : The ceramics element(10) comprises : a sintered ceramic material(11); a metal material(12) containing metal element that is formed adjacent to the sintered ceramic material; and a modified layer(11a) of the sintered ceramic material having thickness less than 300 micrometers around the metal material. The metal material is selected from a group consisting of 4a, 5a and 6a group elements in periodic table and has variation in volume resistance less than 20%% during production of the ceramics element. The sintered material contains at least one selected from rare-earth elements and alkali-earth elements in amount of 10wt.%% or less in terms of oxides. © KIPO 2006
