A display device which has at least a phosphor layer, characterized in that the phosphor layer comprises a green phosphor represented by the following general formula : (A1-xBx)(Zn1-yMny)Al10O17 wherein A represents an element selected from among Ca, Ba and Sr, B represents a rare earth element, x is a number satisfying 0.0001 ≤ x ≤ 0.1, and y is a number satisfying 0.02 ≤ x ≤ 0.14.
