PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a method for manufacturing rare earth-iron-nitrogen based anisotropic magnetic powder, having a good magnetic property and including titanium; and secondary particles for anisotropic magnetic powder, which includes titanium.
SOLUTION : The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing rare earth-iron-nitrogen based anisotropic magnetic powder. The method for manufacturing anisotropic magnetic powder comprises the steps of : mixing a liquid solution containing R (R is at least one kind selected from the group consisting of Sc, Y, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Lu), iron and titanium with a precipitating agent, thereby obtaining a precipitate containing R, iron and titanium; mixing a liquid solution containing R and iron with a precipitating agent in the presence of the precipitate, thereby obtaining a precipitate containing R and iron; sintering the precipitate, thereby an oxide containing R, iron and titanium; performing a thermal treatment on the oxide under a reducing gas atmosphere, thereby obtaining a partial oxide; reducing the partial oxide, thereby obtaining alloy particles; and azotizing the alloy particles, thereby obtaining anisotropic magnetic powder.
