PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a rare earth sintered magnet, with which occurrence of a crack and lack can effectively be suppressed and a high magnetic characteristic can be obtained even at the time of forming a small and thin magnet, and to provide a device for molding in magnetic field.
SOLUTION : A yoke 60 formed of a ferromagnetic body is installed on an outer peripheral side of a lower punch 30. Thus, magnetic flux is made uniform in a part of a mold cavity C without concentrating it to a center and the mold cavity C is uniformly filled with alloy powder at the time of supplying pulverized powder 100. When the magnetic field is applied to pulverized powder 100 in the mold cavity C and is oriented, strength of the magnetic field applied to the mold cavity C is made uniform.
