PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for cleaning a holder for sintering a rare-earth sintering magnet, which easily and efficiently cleans the holder for sintering, to which an oxide of Nd is bonded. SOLUTION : The method for cleaning the holder for sintering the rare-earth sintering magnet includes the step (a) of preparing the holder for sintering the rare-earth sintering magnet, to which the oxide of Nd is bonded, and a step (b) of removing the oxide of Nd, wherein the step (b) includes the step (b1) of heating the holder for sintering in an atmosphere containing water vapor.
