PURPOSE : A structure and a construction method of a fireplug laid under the ground are provided to install in an appropriate position by controlling the length with a general pipe member, to easily maintain by using a preinstalled existing fire-fighting pipe and to reduce a construction cost by simply combining a fireplug in an existing fireplug. CONSTITUTION : A foundation is cleared up to a pipe of fire-fighting water. A fire-fighting water pipe body(307) is connected with a fire-fighting water supply line pipe with a flange. A plug for draining water outside a fireplug is stuck to the lower face of a perpendicular elbow. A drainpipe having many drainage holes is combined with the plug for preventing the clogging of the plug. A cylindrical body is inserted in the upper part of the pipe body. A combining block(311) is combined with the cylindrical body with a bolt. A fireplug protection box(314) is inserted and fixed in the combined portion. A re-filling layer(312) is formed up to the perpendicular elbow with gravels for preventing the abrasion of the drainpipe. A fireplug protection block(316) is inserted outside the fireplug protection box or a ready-mixed concrete is poured thereon. © KIPO 2006
