PURPOSE : A magnetizer having magnets of which N and S poles are spaced apart from each other in a gap of 3 to 5 millimeters and having high efficiency of magnetic water treatment is provided. CONSTITUTION : A magnetizer is characterized in that sectional area of a channel(4) is determined to obtain a water(fluid) flow rate of 2 to 10 m/sec, Nd-Fe-B based rare earth magnets on which coercive force of 10, 000 to 30, 000iHc(Oersted) is magnetized are used as magnets, an N pole and an S pole of the magnets are spaced apart from each other in a gap of 3 to 5 mm, and an obstacle(5) of a round bar or a baffle is installed in the channel such that a turbulent flow is generated in the channel. © KIPO 2006
