PURPOSE : A surface-treating method is provided to be capable of collectively and uniformly surface-treating a plurality of sintered product works such as a rare earth metal based magnet having a shape with an inner diameter portion such as a ring shape. And a surface-treating support member, a surface-treating holder, and a surface-treating apparatus suitably used in the surface-treating method are provided. CONSTITUTION : As a work holder(30) of a deposition apparatus for holding a deposition work, the work holder comprises a tubular body(13) having inner diameter capable of holding the work, the body being formed in a continuous coiled wire shape, the wire(11) comprising plural turns which are spirally wound, and end sealing parts(12) are formed on both ends thereof to prevent the work from being removed and an intermediate part which is extended between the end sealing parts, the intermediate part comprising plural turns disposed in the state that the plural turns are spaced apart from one another in a certain distance to form a space for exposing the work held in the work holder such that the work holder performs surface treatment from an outer part of the work. © KIPO 2006
