PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a ring-shaped magnet which prevents certainly a rotating shaft from idling and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION : The ring-shaped magnet 1 is formed of a rare earth magnet and has a radial magnetic anisotropy. And, an outline shape is different from an inner form shape. The outline shape is a substantially true circular shape, and the inner form shape is an elliptical shape. In the magnet rotor, a resin part 3 is arranged along the inner shape of the ring-shaped magnet 1, the structure that the resin part 3 is integrated with the ring-shaped magnet 1 and rotated is formed. The rotating shaft 4 is press fitted in the resin part 3 or is unified by insert molding. Or, the rotating shaft 4 is molded integrally with the resin part 3. COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI
