PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a sintered rare earth magnet where a deformation can be inhibited in a sintering process of a molded form.SOLUTION : The method includes a process where a molded form is obtained by press-molding metal particles of a predetermined composition in a magnetic field, and a process where the molded form is sintered in a state that it is held in a sintering container whose area above 50% of an outside surface has a surface roughness Ra below 1.0 μm. The outside surface having the surface roughness Ra reflects an infrared ray, thereby controlling the difference of temperatures between the surface and back of the molded form, and the deformation of the sintered body is prevented.COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI
