PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet having excellent magnetic properties and thermal stability.
SOLUTION : A method for producing an alloy thin strip for a rare earth magnet includes : a step where an alloy molten metal containing praseodymium (Pr), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), titanium (Ti), boron (B) and silicon (Si) is fed to a rotating roll to obtain a rapidly cooled thin strip; and a step where the rapidly cooled thin strip is heat-treated at a temperature rise rate in the range of 100 to 150°C/min, and the rapidly cooled thin strip is crystallized.
