PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To realize improvement of magnetic property such as residual magnetic flux density and coercive force.
SOLUTION : The rare earth sintered magnet contains R (R is at least one sort of rare earth elements, where the rare earth elements contain Y), T (T is at least one sort of transition metallic elements) and B, and the magnet contains Sn of at least 0.005 wt.% and less than 0.03 wt.%. Concretely, the rare earth sintered magnet is expressed with composition which is composed of rare earth element R (R is at least one sort of rare earth elements, where the rare earth elements contain Y) of at least 20 wt.% and at most 40 wt.%, boron B of at least 0.5 wt.% and at most 4.5 wt.%, Sn of at least 0.005 wt.% and less than 0.03 wt.%, and transition metallic element T (T is at least one sort of transition metallic elements) as residual. It is desirable that the rare earth element R contains at least one sort of Dy, Tb and Ho.
