PURPOSE : An apparatus for laying a polyethylene(vinyl) film under the surface of the ground having an earth excavating tool for effectively excavating earth and forming a pair of furrows is provided. The apparatus can easily and efficiently excavate the earth and lay the film under the ground. CONSTITUTION : The film-laying apparatus includes : a frame(100) formed by supporting a pair of sash parts(120) with a handle(101) at the front by at least one variable length connecting rod(140, 160); an earth excavating means(200) installed on the frame to form a pair of furrows on the ground; a film-maintaining means(300) for maintaining a polyethylene film to be released from the roll; a polyethylene film-pressing means(400) arranged on the frame to press the released polyethylene film to the ground; and an earth-covering means(500) for covering the earth on both sides of the polyethylene film. The earth-excavating means has a pair of front wheels(220) and a power supply apparatus(600) for driving the front wheels. © KIPO 2006
