PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an anisotropical rare-earth sheet magnet superior in magnetic characteristic, and also to provide its manufacturing method by which the anisotropy rare-earth sheet magnet is manufactured stably and at a low cost. SOLUTION : (1) A rare-earth magnet powder is compressed and molded in a magnetic field by a mold 1 so as to manufacture a preliminary molded body 2, (2) the preliminary molded body 2 is inserted into a tube 3 made of ductile metal that is prepared separately, and then, (3) both ends of the tube 3 are welded to enclose the preliminary molded body 2 therein. Furtheremore, (4) the tube 3 including the preliminary molded body 2 is allowed to pass through a rolling mill roll 5 plural times in a magnetic field to form it into a sheet 6. Next, (5) a magnet body 7 like a product shape is sampled from the sheet 6. In addition, the magnet body 7 is bent if necessary, or a metallic layer is peeled off from the surface of the magnet body 7 and it is made into product by magnetization if needed.
