PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a game machine which reduces the noises as caused by the discharging while accomplishing the versatile performances using a plasma lamp. SOLUTION : A discharge tube 81 is provided inside one end with the smallest curvature within an oval lamp vessel 80. The atoms of the hydrogen gas and the rare gas filled into the lamp vessel 80 are ionized based on the prescribed voltage supplied from a booster board 91 to generate the plasma while the surface of the other end positioned at the counter electrode where the discharge tube 81 is disposed is grounded through the ground wire 82.
