PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To decompose and deodorize malodor even in a light-scarce dark place such as sewerage by the photocatalytic action of a resin composition such as a coating in which a photocatalyst, an ion-generating material generating negative ions and silver, copper or zinc are mixed. SOLUTION : The ion-generating material generating negative ions, for example, is a mixture of a material containing rare earth elements such as a mixed rare earth and a natural ore and a spontaneously polarizing polar material such as garnet powder. Silver, copper or zinc is mixed in powder. The photocatalyst is powder or liquid of titanium dioxide. The ion generating material and the titanium dioxide are mixed in a resin. The mixture is coated on sewerage or the inside wall of a septic tank as a coating and placed within a water supply line or a septic tank as a resin composition. COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI
