A green light emitting phosphor for low voltage/high current density characterized by comprising at least one phosphor selected from among a zinc silicate phosphor containing manganese as an activator (a), a rare earth silicate phosphor containing terbium as an activator (b) and a zinc sulfide phosphor of hexagonal crystal structure containing copper and aluminum as activators (c). When used in color displays such as FED, the green light emitting phosphor can attain enhancement of emitted light color and can achieve luminance increase while retaining satisfactory chromaticity. © KIPO & WIPO 2007
