PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a new glass phosphor exhibiting strong light emission in the visible light region. SOLUTION : The crystallized glass phosphor is characterized in that at least one portion of an oxide of at least one kind of element selected from the group consisting of group 1 elements or the like of the Periodic Table, and scandium and the like exists as crystal in crystallized glass which contains, by mol, (i) 20-99% SiO2, (ii) 0-50% B2O3, (iii) 0-70% P2O5, (iv) 0.01-45% of an oxide of at least one kind of element selected from the group consisting of group 1 elements, group 2 elements, group 4 elements, group 5 elements, group 6 elements, group 7 elements, group 8 elements, group 9 elements, group 10 elements, group 11 elements, group 12 elements, group 13 elements (except B), group 14 elements (except Si), group 15 elements (except N and P), group 16 elements (except O and S), scandium, yttrium and lanthanum, and (v) 0.01-10 mol% of an oxide of at least one kind of rare earth element except the elements mentioned above.
