PURPOSE : A driven centrifugal separator with a porous cylinder is provided to prevent the efficiency of phase separation from lowering because of a mutual re-interference, by immediately discharging the liquid, phase-separated from the mixed fluid, to the separate space, and by isolating it from the mixed fluid, and the gas after phase-separation. CONSTITUTION : The centrifugal separator, which phase-separates a mixed fluid into liquid and gas by means of centrifugal force, includes; a cylindrical, external vessel(10), having an upper and lower discharging hole(11, 13); a porous cylinder(20), whose diameter is smaller than that of the external vessel(10), and which has many vents and is concentrically arranged inside the external vessel(10); and an inlet duct(30), penetrating the outer circumferential surface of the external vessel(10), so as to be connected with the porous cylinder(20) in the tangential direction thereof.
