PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To more inexpensively manufacture a strong magnetic roller. SOLUTION : Recessed cutouts are formed lengthwise at one or more pole positions on a magnet roller having two or more magnetic poles. Then, those cutouts are filled with magnet pieces obtained by molding rare earth magnet powder or mixture powder of rare earth magnet powder and ferrite magnet powder together with thermosetting resin as the binder in a magnetic field for orientation.
