Photothermographic materials contain an X-radiation-sensitive phosphor that emits in the range of from about 100 to about 410 nm. The X-radiation-sensitive phosphor is a rare earth phosphate, a yttrium phosphate, a strontium phosphate or a strontium fluoroborate.
