PURPOSE : Provided are a method for preparing bee venom dubu (bean curd) containing the effective ingredient of bee venom, and the bee venom dubu prepared by the method which encourages the kidney. CONSTITUTION : The method comprises the steps of soaking 3 kg of bean in water; pulverizing the soaked bean with adding water; boiling the pulverized bean for 30-40 min; filtering the boiled one with a sieve to waste biji (bean-curd refuse) and to produce soybean milk; adding 1 table spoon of bee venom to the soybean milk and aging it at a room temperature for 24 hours; filtering the aged soybean milk to remove the solid part and re-boiling it; adding 2-3 % of salt water (CaSO4) based on 3 kg of bean to the re-boiled one to harden it; and pouring the hardened one into a frame and dehydrating and molding it. © KIPO 2006
