PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a light emitting device emitting slightly reddish warm-colored white light and having good luminous efficiency. SOLUTION : The light emitting device comprises a light emitter 10 having an emission wavelength between 360-550 nm and having the first emission spectrum, a Mn-doped Sr-Ca-Si-N : Eu, Z-type silicon nitride fluorophor 11 (Z is a rare earth element such as Pr, La or Tb) having an emission spectrum from yellow to red region by converting the wavelength of a part of an emission spectrum excited by a blue-light emitting element 10, and an alkaline earth metal halogen apatite fluorophor.
