PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain an anisotropic bond magnet which is excellent in heat resistance, weathering resistance and magnetic characteristics while avoiding any crack in a mold obtained by molding magnet powder. SOLUTION : An R-Fe-B alloy ingot or rough crushed particles obtained by crushing the lump are subjected to an H2 treatment under specific heat treatment conditions to obtain anisotropic magnetic powder which has a recrystallized particle assembled structure of R2 Fe14 B phase of tetragonal system having a specific average recrystallized particle size, mixed with predetermined amounts of fine, liquid-quenched R-Fe-B magnetic powder, hard ferrite power and binder resin, molded and then hardened to thereby obtain the bond magnet.
