PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electromagnetic fuel injection valve in which a valve assembly formed by integrally communicating between a valve element and movable core is accommodated in a valve housing and first and second journal parts are provided to the valve assembly so as to be slidably supported by a guide hole of the valve housing, wherein weight reduction of the valve assembly can be materialized while maintaining excellent responsivity and flow rate characteristic by avoiding deterioration of initial comformability and increase in abrasion quantity.
SOLUTION : The outer surface of a first journal part 21 comprises a slide surface 45 which can be brought into slide contact with the inner surface of a guide hole 14 and a pair of tapered inclines 46, 47 continuous with both front and rare sides of the slide surface 45. At least the incline 47 on a movable core side of both inclines 46, 47 is made up of a first incline part 47a continuous with an end of the slide surface 45 and a second incline part 47b continuous with the first incline part 47a. An angle formed by a plane orthogonal to a shaft line of a valve shaft part 19b and the first incline part 47a is set bigger than that formed by the second incline part 47b and the plane.
