PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a system and a method for defrosting a re-condensing device (76) for a liquid cooling zero boil off type MR magnet. SOLUTION : The system and the method include at least one heating element (106) configured to melt off iced particles (122, 124 and 126) from the re-condensing system (76). An electric power supply circuit (112) is included, and the electric power supply circuit (112) is configured to supply electric power to at least one resistive heating element (106). At least one resistive heating element (106) supplies heat source sufficient to melt off the iced particles (122, 124 and 126) from the re-condensing device (76).
