PURPOSE : Provided is ceramic powder composition that emits anions and far-infrared rays and helps produce environment-friendly wallpaper, constructional paint, and ship-bottom paint that prevents the adhesion of shell or oceanophyte to ship bottom. CONSTITUTION : The ceramic powder composition emitting anions and far-infrared rays can control the number of anions and the intensity of atomic energy radioactivity. The ceramic powder composition comprises 10-20wt% of tourmaline(T), 0-50wt% of rare earth(R), and 30-85wt% of zirconium silicate(Z)(provided that the sum of all ingredients is 100%). The number(Q) of anions and the intensity(B) of atomic energy radioactivity are controlled by the following equation as required : Q-Ions/cm^3 = 147R+1, 825+(0.4Z-31)×(T-To) (wherein To is a minimum mixture weight percent of tourmaline and is 7wt% for paper and PVC resin and 15wt% for paint) B(Bq/g) = (0.12R + 0.49) (T+R+Z). © KIPO 2006
