PURPOSE : To provide a hydrogen generating apparatus capable of obtaining hydrogen from water infinitely existing on the earth without consumption of fossil fuels that are hydrocarbons. CONSTITUTION : An apparatus for generating hydrogen gas comprises : an operating fluid supply part that supplies the operating fluid after purifying an operating fluid to a high purity and pressurizing the purified operating fluid to a predetermined pressure; a body(10) in which a passageway is formed such that the operating fluid flows through the passageway; a dielectric insertion(20) which is inserted into the passageway of the body, through a penetration hole(21) of which the operating fluid passes, and which generates an electric impulse of high electric potential by cavitation emission phenomenon; a separation means(50) separating ions according to electrical polarities by impressing a magnetic field to a flow of the operating fluid ionized by the electric impulse; and a focusing means(60) that generates hydrogen gas by respectively focusing the ions separated by the separation means. © KIPO 2006
