PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To eliminate warp and bend at the time of sintering a rare earth sintered magnet. SOLUTION : A molding of material alloy fine powder containing a rare earth element, a transition metal element, and boron is sintered while being arranged such that the longitudinal direction of the molding becomes substantially parallel with the direction of gravity. In order to arrange the molding such that the longitudinal direction thereof becomes substantially parallel with the direction of gravity, the molding is suspended, for example. The molding is elongated to have an axial ratio of 2 or above and molded such that the easy direction of magnetization becomes the longitudinal direction.
