PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To suppress the growth of a crystal grain, and to increase density by reducing sintering time.
SOLUTION : A forming body is subjected to debindering treatment by resistance heating before sintering by discharge plasma sintering, when manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet, by sintering the forming body for forming a raw material alloy fine powder containing a rare earth element, a transition metal element, and boron. In this case, the amount of oxygen contained in the raw material alloy fine is preferably set to 2, 500 ppm or smaller. Preliminary sintering is preferably made until sintering density reaches 70% or higher than the degree of vacuum by resistance heating.
